"The main reason for success in sideouts was because of the strong defensive play, as Penn State had 42 digs against the Cardinals, with five players contributing with at least seven digs.
Throughout the weekend, Penn State continued to struggle with offensive errors, especially on serves.
Rose said in one stretch, his team had three straight serving errors. And against Illinois State in a 21-21 tie, Penn State had to call a rare timeout."
"It's refocusing, pull it together again -- keep attacking. We talked before [Rose] steps in. What we need to work on to finish game. And when he talks, he's always right."
