Sport Court® Selected for 17th Year as Official Playing Surface for
NCAA® Men’s Collegiate Volleyball Championship at Stanford May 6 and 8, 2010
Stanford, California (PRWeb) May 5, 2010— A Sport Court® playing surface from Connor Sport Court International is in the spotlight for the 17th year as the choice of the 2010 NCAA® Men’s Collegiate Volleyball Championships.
Stanford University is the host of the championship tournament, being played at Maples Pavilion on May 6 and 8.

For this event, Sport Court is providing one 60 foot by 112 foot Response™ blue and red championship regulation volleyball court.

Four teams will compete for the championship. Automatic qualification was awarded to Stanford University (22-6), the winner of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation; Ohio State University (22-7), winner of the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association; and Pennsylvania State University (23-7), winner of the Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association. One team, California State University, Northridge (23-9), was selected at-large.
Semifinal No. 1 will be #2 seed Cal State Northridge versus #3 seed Penn State and will be broadcast live on Thursday, May 6 at 6 p.m. Pacific time on ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN360.com simulcast. Semifinal No. 2 will be #1 seed Stanford versus #4 seed Ohio State and will be broadcast live on Thursday, May 6 at 8 p.m. Pacific time on ESPNU. The national championship match will be broadcast live on Saturday, May 8 at 4 p.m. Pacific time on ESPN2 and ESPN360.com simulcast.
