Former Kansas City Volleyball Player Erin Wellwood To Play For Bring It USA Volleyball
(Kansas City, Mo.) – Former Kansas City volleyball player Erin Wellwood has been selected as a member of Bring It USA and will take part in the 8th Annual European Global Challenge in Pula, Croatia.
In the event, 16 teams, including five from the U.S., will take part in group play matches on July 16-17, while championship matches will be held on July 18-19. Other countries represented in the event include Italy, Montenegro, Russia, Israel, Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovenia and Romania.
Wellwood, who played for the Kangaroos from 2008-12, ranks sixth in school history with 1,380 career assists, while the Omaha, Neb., native registered 787 digs and 73 aces in her career.
