UTA TIED FOR FOURTH IN THE WEST; TIED FOR SEVENTH BEST RECORD IN SLC
The race for the postseason continues as UTA is currently tied with UTSA for the seventh best record in the SLC. If the playoffs started today, UT Arlington and UTSA would be tied for the sixth seed, as both programs own a 5-7 league record. UTA is just behind McNeese State (5-6) and has Nicholls and Southeastern Louisiana on their heels with a 4-8 SLC mark.
UT ARLINGTON VOLLEYBALL HISTORY - MOST POINTS SCORED IN A SINGLE SET
Entering the night, the most points ever scored in a set in a UT Arlington volleyball match was 72, that record was demolished Tuesday, Nov. 3, with a record-setting 80 points scored in the second set between UT Arlington and Texas State with the Bobcats winning the frame 41-39. The previous record was in a match at Huntsville where Sam Houston State defeated the Mavs 37-35 in the fourth set of a Bearkats victory on Oct. 5, 2004. Nine times the Mavericks have had either 66 points or 68 points scored in a set. It is believed that the SLC record is 82 points in a set with Northwestern State defeating Lamar, 42-40, on Sept. 23, 2006 in Beaumont. Earlier this season on Friday, Oct. 23, Manhattan defeated Rider in a set that included 88 points (45-43), which is an NCAA all-time record.

UT Arlington made school history on Wednesday night committing just one attack error in a three-set victory over Northwestern State.
